PRIVACY POLICY
The Newserve website uses cookies. Cookies are text files that are stored on a computer system via a website. These data are used to carry out statistical studies that allow us to verify the growth of traffic on the site and what are the main interests of the users of the Newserve site. This collection is done anonymously, and it is not possible to correlate the statistical data with an identified or identifiable person. This information is collected by the website's hosting system.
- it has a valid email address;
and - he subscribes to the same newsletter.
For legal reasons, a confirmation email will be sent to the email address registered for the first time by the data subject, in a procedure commonly known as “double enrollment”. This confirmation email is used to verify that the owner of the email address – as a data subject – wants to receive the newsletter.
During newsletter subscription, Newserve also stores the IP address of the computer system assigned by the internet service provider (ISP) and used by the data subject at the time of registration, as well as the date and time of registration. The collection of this data is necessary to verify the (possible) misuse of a data subject's email address at a later date and therefore serves the purpose of the controller's legal protection.
Personal data collected as part of registration for the newsletter will only be used for sending the newsletter. There will be no transfer of personal data collected to third parties.
In short:
- The data collected for sending the newsletter are: Name and E-mail
- Treatment: the data submitted for subscription to the newsletter will be automatically processed by the Mailchimp platform.
- Consent: the information sent through the newsletter is only what the user chooses to receive when providing their data. After subscribing, an opt-in email is sent, which is considered to be the express consent of the user to receive the newsletter. The data provided will not be inserted into another database without the holder's express consent.
The Newserve collects the name and email through a form generated by the MailChimp platform. This data is only added to the specific database related to the sending of newsletters. For the revocation of consent, all newsletters have an unsubscribe link that can be found at the bottom of each newsletter. The data subject may also request the total removal of the stored data by sending an email to geral@newserve.pt.
The website Newserve has a contact form where you can get in touch with the company. If you contact Newserve through this form, the personal data will be automatically processed by the wordpress software and sent to our e-mail, being used only for response purposes. The data collected will not be inserted into another database without the holder's express consent, nor transferred to other entities.
In short:
- The data collected by the contact form are: Name and e-mail
- Treatment: the data submitted in the contact form will be automatically processed by the wordpress software, received by email geral@newserve.pt and processed manually. The data sent through the contact form will be solely and exclusively used for the purposes of direct response to the message sent; they will not be inserted into any other database without the holder's express consent.
- Consent: by placing your name and e-mail in the respective fields, the user is consenting that the data sent will be used for the respective response.
The Newserve makes it possible to purchase products distributed by the company. During the purchase process Newserve stores the IP address of the computer system assigned by the internet providers (ISP) and used by the data subject at the time of registration, as well as the date and time of registration. The collection of this data is necessary to verify the (possible) misuse of a data subject's email address at a later date and therefore serves the purpose of the controller's legal protection.
Currently, Newserve provides its products only by ordering, not providing any form of online payment.
The criteria used to determine the period of storage of personal data are the respective legal retention period. After the expiration of this period, the corresponding data are routinely erased, provided that they are no longer necessary for the fulfillment of any legal or contractual requirement and provided that the purpose for which they were collected has ended.
